How Special Education Works at Aspen
Aspen provides special education services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Services may include academic accommodations, specialized instruction, behavioral support, or related services depending on individual student needs.
- Services are based on a student’s assessed needs
- IEP teams include educators, specialists, and families
- Placement decisions prioritize the least restrictive environment
- Collaboration with families is ongoing and essential
If you suspect your child may need additional services, we encourage you to contact your campus Principal to discuss the evaluation and referral process.
Aspen’s Commitment
- We do not discriminate based on disability status.
- We do not discourage or deny enrollment to students with disabilities.
- We believe all students deserve an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- We aim to support the whole child, including academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
