Empowering Students Every Day

Personal Guidance, Academic Support

Aspen Ridge’s Counseling Department offers comprehensive, student-centered support for middle and high schoolers as they navigate both school and life. With a focus on social-emotional growth, academic planning, and future readiness, the counseling team builds strong relationships with students and families to ensure every learner is equipped to thrive. Counselors are available on campus and virtually throughout the school year and serve as a trusted point of connection between home, school, and community.

What Counselors Support

Students can meet with counselors for support with academic planning, time management, stress, goal-setting, peer relationships, and more. Aspen Ridge counselors work closely with each student to build skills, set plans, and prepare for high school graduation and beyond.

College & Career Guidance

Counselors help students explore college, trade school, and career options through personal interest assessments, course planning, and real-world exposure. Students can get support with everything from Dual Enrollment to graduation requirements and the A-G college prep pathway for UCs and CSUs.

Mental & Emotional Wellness

Aspen Ridge counselors create safe spaces where students can discuss social-emotional challenges and receive support. Whether it’s a quick check-in or ongoing help with stress, grief, or mental health, counselors are a consistent presence on campus.

Accessing Counseling Services

Counselors are available during the school day and often before/after school or during lunch. Students can drop in, request a pass, or send a message via email. Families can also reach out directly to coordinate support.

Emergencies

In case of an emergency, students should tell a trusted adult and call 911. The Counseling Department is not an emergency service provider.
